More than a meal, it's a real concept invented by the team at the Table des dames! And what a concept! Putting female chefs in the spotlight in a world of gastronomy that is sometimes very masculine...
From left to right: Candice and Morgane, students at the Lycée hôtelier, Émilie Villon, Chef at the restaurant Chez Serge in Carpentras, Jean-François Baux, co-organizer of the event La Table des dames and cooking teacher and Mélanie Serres, Chef Consultant and ex-Chef at l'Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Paris .
La Table des dames project: a necessary concept in gastronomy
It is at the Lycée Hôtelier Sainte-Thérèse de La Guerche-de-Bretagne that the meal for 110 guests is prepared...
Many great chefs are graduates of this Breton hotel school. And today, the initiative aims to move the lines of the world of gastronomy...
In the kitchen and in the dining room, a team made up entirely of women: 14 chefs who know the profession perfectly, but also students from the school.
The opportunity is unique, the links are quickly created and, for once, the professionals get together to work.
"The idea is to honour the know-how of women in the hotel and catering industry and the food service industry" - Jean-François Baux
Efficiency and good humour are at work, and the participants of this exceptional evening will be delighted.
Remember that in 2016, there were no women on the list of winners of the famous Michelin Guide. In 2020, there are 33 chefs who have received the precious award.
Let's bet that this initiative will be emulated... and maybe even get new stars!
ProcSea and Furic Marée, support the Chefs!

Can't wait for the next episode!
